Paypal created a way to champion small businesses by putting them on one of the biggest retail stages possible - 5th Avenue in New York City during the holidays. Along with the miracle workers at Standard Transmission, we designed Christmas windows for five small business in an empty storefront on 5th Avenue at 44th Street. The windows were shoppable with QR codes linking to the websites of the individual businesses. There was even a launch party with hot chocolate and carolers. We were so proud of this experience but also came out of it with a hundred bigger and better ideas for “the next time”.
